You’re confident in the value you offer, but your website doesn’t show it.
If you’re reading this, you’ve probably made the decision to take your education business to the next level.
Maybe you need to market your new book, or you want to book speaking engagements at larger conferences. Maybe you need to improve SEO on your blog, or you’ve decided to start selling lesson plans.
You have the expertise and the vision to do it. The next step is to build a website that puts it all together.
As a former teacher myself, I’m passionate about supporting educators in the important work you do.
I’m a web developer and user experience designer with a decade of experience building best-in-class websites. Before I changed careers to become a web developer, I was a teacher for 10 years. I taught at an alternative, therapeutic high school. I deeply enjoyed that work, and it taught me a lot about how best to support a wide-range of individuals, with a wide-range of abilities, to achieve their goals.
I remain passionate about education. That’s why I offer dedicated website packages at a discounted rate to education-related businesses.
Building an exceptional website requires more than just technical skills.
If you need a new website or custom-built application, then you already know it’s vital to partner with somebody who has the technical skills to build it. But those technical skills are only half the equation. The developer you partner with also needs to excel at listening, asking the right questions, communicating proactively, and explaining technical concepts in easy-to-understand ways.
These are qualities I excel at. In addition to being a highly experienced developer fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP, I also bring the often-overlooked “soft” skills to my web development work. I was a teacher for ten years before becoming a web developer, and I continue to be passionate about understanding people’s needs and helping them achieve their goals.
